The long sleeve Layer-X is possibly the closest thing to a second skin you could think of. Not a single seam, 100% laser-cut, and with graphene integrated into the textile, it just feels like wearing a highly protective layer of… air. With a weight of only 180 grams, the Layer-X does not pay an extra cost in weight to keep you protected.
If you just want to protect yourself with layers, it's really not hard. The challenge here was to develop a base layer that would protect and enhance your performance without you even noticing it. Imagine knights and their armors. They were pretty well protected, but we are damn sure they were well aware of the armors they carried. For this to happen, we needed to focus on: weight (associated with protection / abrasion resistance and warmth), breathability (for it to work when active and not disturb you), and fit.
Graphene plays a key role in giving you the protection you need while enhancing the performance of the materials used in this layer.

Under the hood of the Layer-X we find 88% polyester, 2% Graphene (embedded in polyester yarn) and 10% spandex.
We took over 3 years to develop the graphene-based material for this t-shirt. And the wait was worth it. The Layer-X is not only highly abrasion resistant - which is basically the capacity of withstanding friction, use and abuse, but also features pro levels of hygroscopicity, wicking sweat away from the skin and dispersing the moisture flawlessly, creating an incredibly fast-drying shirt with unbeatable levels of breathability.
Want more? Ok. Add UV protection, bacteriostatic properties and the capacity to self-regulate heat due to the far infrared properties of graphene (so basically will only feel warm when in cold weather, if not, it'll just feel as a second layer of unnoticeable skin).
